On the journey to 2025, EPSEA adheres to the concept of innovation-driven as the core and technology-leading as the driving force. Recently, the two major business divisions of EPSEA, the Machinery Division and the Filtration Division, have conducted comprehensive planning in their respective fields and looked ahead to the technological development directions in 2025.
1. Machinery Divisio
Patrick Wang, R&D Deputy General Manager, stated that in 2025, the division will focus on three key strategic directions: upgrading the technology center, enhancing product energy efficiency through intelligent upgrades, and expanding research and development initiatives for new products.
Upgrading the Technology Center
We will upgrade the provincial-level technology center to a national-level one and build a 2,000㎡ industry-leading experimental testing center at EPSEA factory II. This upgrade will provide strong support for the research and development of new technologies and materials, as well as product innovation, facilitate EPSEA to take a technological leading position in the industry.
Smart Products Energy Efficiency
Enhancing product energy efficiency and advancing intelligent upgrades remain critical priorities for the Machinery Division. By concentrating on energy-saving product development, deepening IoT (Internet of Things) applications, and providing technical support for energy performance contracting initiatives as well as the construction of Tier-1 energy efficiency stations, the division aims to deliver effective solutions that help customers reduce energy consumption costs and optimize production efficiency.
The Expansion of New Product Research and Development
The Machinery Division will initiate new projects for -20°C refrigerated air dryers and rotary drum desiccant dryers, and continue to optimize the performance and configuration of variable-speed drive refrigerated air dryers. In addition, it will accelerate the transformation of achievements in air separation equipment, such as purifying machines, proportioning devices, and oxygen generators, thereby providing continuous scientific research impetus for the company's new growth goals.
2. Filtration Divisio
Gavin Zheng, Chief Engineer of the Filtration Division, shared the key R&D (Research and Development) initiatives of the Filtration Division for 2025. He stated that the Filtration Division will be dedicated to advancing the technological upgrading of filtration and separation processes in air compressors, aiming to achieve a lower pressure difference, higher efficiency, and a longer service life.
The Continuous Upgrading of Filtration Technology
Through the application of innovative folding technology and oleophobic and hydrophobic materials, the Filtration Division will develop an oil-gas separator with an initial pressure difference of less than 0.15 bar and a service life of 8,000 hours. This technological breakthrough will significantly enhance the product's performance and service life.
The Development of High-performance Product
The Filtration Division will select special chemical fiber filter materials and employ special processes to develop an air filter product that features an initial negative pressure that is only half that of an ordinary one, as well as a service life of 4,000 hours. This innovation will significantly prolong the service life of the oil separator and reduce the energy consumption of the air compressor, thereby bringing higher economic benefits to customers.
The Applications of loT Technology
In addition, the Filtration Division is actively introducing Internet of Things (IoT) technology to conduct comprehensive data recording and analysis of oil-gas separators, continuously optimizing product performance, and ensuring that customers always have access to the best products. We will actively respond to national energy conservation and emission reduction policies by providing customers with more efficient and energy-saving product solutions through technological innovation.
